SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eleanor Rita Lazzara; and

WHEREAS, Eleanor Lazzara was the beloved wife of the late Blase Lazzara; the loving mother of Dr. James (Ginny), John, Raymond (Deanna), and Diane (Ted Prodzenski); the dear step-mother of Mildred Tolomeo and the late Blase Lazzara; the cherished grandmother of Michael (Julia) Lazzara, Priscilla Rampik, Lauren and Julia Lazzara, Jenna Paolilli, and James and Michael Prodzenski; the devoted great-grandmother of Ana Francesca Lazzara; the fond sister of the late Harriet (the late Michael) Marinich, the late Katherine Stein, and the late James (Charline) Mele; the dear daughter of the late John and Emily Mele; and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, Eleanor Lazzara will be remembered by all who knew and loved her as a woman whose kindness and generosity endeared her to everyone she met; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Eleanor Rita Lazzara; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eleanor Lazzara as an expression of our sympathy.
