SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Gust Dasakis of Bartlett, formerly of Lombard, who passed away on April 15, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Gust Dasakis was the beloved husband of Toula, nee Brales; the loving father of Jim (Valerie) and Maria (Ted) Costopoulos; the cherished grandfather of Constantine, Evan, and Paul; and the dear brother of Ted (Stella) and Souli (the late Stella); and

WHEREAS, Gust Dasakis' love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared him to his family members, friends, and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Gust Dasakis; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Gust Dasakis as an expression of our sympathy.
