SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Harry J. Lesniak of Burbank, who passed
4 away on January 2, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born on October 9, 1919 in Oglesby; and
 
6     WHEREAS, He owned and operated Midwest Hardware at 79th and
7 Narragansett Streets in Burbank; he had a strong work ethic and
8 a sincere devotion to his family; and
 
9     WHEREAS, He enjoyed golf, family outings, watching
10 football games on Sunday afternoons, and cards; and
 
11     WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Harry Lesniak is survived by his wife of 61 years,
13 Grace (Maes); his sons, Tom (Gretakay) and Dan (Chris); his
14 daughters, Peggy (Stephen) and Cindy (Tim); his
15 daughter-in-law, Marge; fourteen grandchildren; and two
16 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
17     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
19 his family and friends, the passing of Harry Lesniak; and be it

3 presented to the family of Harry Lesniak as a symbol of our
4 sincere sympathy.
