SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Anthony M. "Tony" Cirella, who passed away on January 4, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Cirella was the former proprietor of The Old Barn; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Cirella was the beloved husband of Nancy L., nee Moran; the loving father of Craig and Jamie Cirella; the loving stepfather of George, Eric, and Jamie Droysen; the proud "Papa" of Nathan, Alissa, Stefanie, Caleb, and Ben; the devoted son of the late Daniel and Vicky "Ivy" Cirella; the dear brother of Diane Lerman and Gillian Boomgarden; he was also loved by his sisters and brothers-in-law and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Anthony M. "Tony" Cirella; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Anthony Cirella as an expression of our sympathy.
