SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lorraine C. Foy; and

WHEREAS, Lorraine Foy was the beloved wife of Thomas; the loving mother of Laura (Dennis) Hoffman, Debbie (John) Iuro, Dan (Sharon) Foy, and Tracy (Rosemary) Foy; the dearest grandmother of Sandi, Brian (Jamie), John (Renee), Matt, Shana, Katie, Nikki, Alex, Taylor, and Ryan; the devoted great-grandmother of Bradley, Baylee, Daniel, Jenevieve, and Luke; the fond sister of Dolly (Klaus) Dechau; and the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, Lorraine Foy's love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Lorraine C. Foy; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lorraine Foy as an expression of our sympathy.
