SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Georgia V. Les; and

WHEREAS, Georgia Les was the beloved wife of Bill G. Les; the loving mother of Harry (Dina), George (Soula), Angelo (Georgia), and Toula (Ted) Klideris; the cherished Yia-Yia of Georgia (Paul), Bill G. (Vicki), Bill H., Jim (Toula), Connie (Paul), Pete K., Pete H., Georgine, Bill K., Billy A., Pete A. and her much awaited future great-grandchild, Little Georgie; the beloved sister of Nick (Panagiota), Stamata (the late Nick) Bratsos, Vassio (Pete) Georgelos, the late George (Joanne), and the late Sophie (the late George) Pappas; and the beloved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, Georgia Les' love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Georgia V. Les; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Georgia Les as an expression of our sympathy.
