SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Margaret Mary "Margie" Seeberg, nee
4 Parrilli, who passed away on January 27, 2010; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Margaret Seeberg was employed at Veneman's
6 Publishing, where she edited local parish bulletins; she
7 recently left The Revere Group with great reluctance; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Margaret Seeberg spearheaded the St. Norbert's
9 Parish Home and School Program and served on St. Norbert's
10 School Board; she was an early participant in the Christian
11 Family Movement (CFM); she was also a member of the Oak
12 Park/Green Lake Book Club and a docent for the Frank Lloyd
13 Wright Studio tours; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Margaret Seeberg enjoyed reading and reconnecting
15 with her dear friends through recent reunions at St Gertrude's
16 grammar school, St. Scholastica, and Barat College and at her
17 husband's reunions at Loyola Academy and John Carroll
18 University; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Margaret Seeberg is survived by her husband of 50
20 years, James; she raised 6 children, John, Patrick (Brenda),
21 Delia (Liam Durnan), Matthew (Karen), Timothy, and Burke (Kim);

1 she was the loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren, who called
2 her "Mimi": Clare, Caroline, Isabella, Sophia, Aidan, Erin,
3 Emily, Adam, and Elizabeth; she was also the dear sister of
4 Matthew Parrilli, Carla (the late George) Lambrechts, and Ann
5 Parrilli; therefore, be it
 
6     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
7 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
8 her family and friends, the passing of Margaret Mary "Margie"
9 Seeberg; and be it further
 
10     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11 presented to the family of Margaret Seeberg as an expression of
12 our sympathy.
