SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

70 ILCS 2605/19 rep.

Amends the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act. Repeals a Section of the Act that provides that the District is liable for certain property damage. Effective immediately.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act is amended by repealing Section 19.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
