1     AN ACT concerning criminal law.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Criminal Code of 1961 is amended by adding
5 Section 11-27 as follows:

6     (720 ILCS 5/11-27 new)
7     Sec. 11-27. Sexual predator; no custody.
8     (a) For the purposes of this Section:
9         "Minor" means a person who was under 18 years of age at
10     the time of the commission of the offense.
11         "Sex offense" has the meaning ascribed to it in Section
12     2 of the Sex Offender Registration Act.
13         "Sexual predator" has the meaning ascribed to it in
14     Section 2 of the Sex Offender Registration Act.
15     (b) It is unlawful for a sexual predator to knowingly
16 assume custody or control of a minor who was the victim of the
17 sex offense committed by the sexual predator.
18     (c) Sentence. A violation of this Section is a Class 4
19 felony.
