HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Rose Becker, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; and

WHEREAS, Rose Becker is survived by her daughters, Rita (State Representative Sidney) Mathias and Ilene Becker; she was the adored Bubby of Rabbi Elliot (Shira) and Rabbi Scott (Ilana) Mathias; and she was the proud great-grandmother of Binyamin, Yonason, Yehuda, Aviva, Gila, and Batya; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Rose Becker; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rose Becker as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
