HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Dr. Charles Seten on the occasion of his retirement from Primary Care Group in Harrisburg on August 10, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten married Nancy Bramlet Seten in 1964; he has 2 children, Sara Berghausen and Charlie Seten; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten earned his bachelor's degree in zoology from Southern Illinois University and his doctorate of medicine from University of Illinois; he served his country with pride as a member of the United States Army from 1972 to 1974; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten began practicing medicine in Harrisburg in 1976; in 1997, he merged his private practice, Harrisburg Internal Medicine, with Harrisburg Family Practice to form the Primary Care Group; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten has been a member of numerous organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the Board of Directors of Harrisburg Medical Center, Family Practice, the Residency Program at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and the Illinois State Medical Society; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Seten serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Dr. Charles Seten on the occasion of his retirement and wish him many happy and healthy retirement years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Dr. Charles Seten as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
