HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Russ Loebe on his retirement from the Village of New Lenox; and

WHEREAS, He is a graduate of Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox; and

WHEREAS, He has been with the Village of New Lenox since 1971, beginning as a part-time employee in the Public Works Department, then becoming a licensed Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator; he advanced to being the first Public Works Department Director and eventually becoming Village Administrator in 1985; and

WHEREAS, He has served 6 mayors and 44 elected officials throughout his public service; and

WHEREAS, He is a member of the New Lenox Rotary Club; and

WHEREAS, He will be enjoying retirement along with his wife, Carol, and their sons, RJ and Jamie; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Russ Loebe on his retirement and wish him all the best in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Russ Loebe as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
