HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of James C. "Jim" DelMedico of Norwood Park, who passed away on August 23, 2011; and

WHEREAS, He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Korea; and

WHEREAS, He was a longtime City of Chicago 41st Ward Community Representative; and

WHEREAS, James DelMedico was the beloved father of Jim DelMedico and Paula (Dave) Giertych; he was the proud grandfather of Lindsey, Ryan, Zach, and Megan; he was the dear brother of Louis (Marie) and Frank (Irene) DelMedico; and he was the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of James C. "Jim" DelMedico; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James C. "Jim" DelMedico as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
