SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Nancy Ellison of Crystal Lake, who passed away on April 18, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born on July 25, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Edward and Rita (nee, Cary) Page; and

WHEREAS, For over 26 years, she taught school, most of those years in the Palatine School District #15; and

WHEREAS, She was a devoted mother, wife, teacher, and friend; she will be remembered as being a happy, fun loving, loyal, and kind person and was an inspiration to all who knew her; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Page; and

WHEREAS, Nancy Ellison is survived by her husband of 28 years, Steve; her children, Emily Ellison and Andrew Ellison; her mother, Rita Page; her sister, Patricia (Bill) Robinson; her brothers, Tom (Terri) Page, Steve (Helen) Page, and Stuart (Pamela) Page; her nieces, Karen (Matt) Horton and Lauren Page; and her nephews, Michael (Rebecca) Robinson, Jeff (Melissa) Page, Matt Page, Spencer Page, Kelly Page, and Evan Page; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Nancy Ellison; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Nancy Ellison as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
