SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sally F. Hill of Bloomington, who passed
4away on April 26, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sally Hill was born on May 19, 1952, in
6Bloomington; she was the daughter of William and Jacquie Frost
7Frank; she married David L. Hill on August 6, 1976, in
8Bloomington; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Sally Hill graduated from Bloomington High School
10in 1970 and the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 1975;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Sally Hill was employed as a pharmacist at Osco
13Drugs for over 35 years; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Sally Hill was a member of the Second Presbyterian
15Church in Bloomington, the Delta Gamma Sorority, the Daughters
16of the American Revolution, the Antiquarian Club, and P.O.E.;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Sally Hill enjoyed playing golf, playing tennis,
19bridge, antiques, gardening, walking, cycling, Pilates,
20reading, traveling, visiting with her friends, and especially

1baby-sitting her granddaughter, Alexa; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Sally Hill is survived by her husband; her
3daughter, Katie (Dalan) Thornton; her son, Brian W. Hill; her
4parents, Bill and Jacquie Frank; her brother, Chip (Debbie)
5Frank; her sister, Janie Frank; her granddaughter, Alexa
6Thornton; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Shirley
7Hill; her brother-in-law, Buzz (Barbie) Hill; her
8sister-in-law, Sue (Kelly) Davidson; and her other family
9members; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
12her family and friends, the passing of Sally F. Hill; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Sally Hill as an expression of our
16sympathy.
