SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert G. Welch, who passed away on November 13, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Robert Welch was born on November 2, 1931 in Waukegan; he was a lifelong resident of North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Robert Welch was employed by Peter Baker for 12 years before moving on to Lake County Grading for 5 years; he subsequently worked at Eheirs Jurend for 2 years before retiring from Teamster Local 301; and

WHEREAS, Robert Welch enjoyed restoring old cars; and

WHEREAS, Robert Welch is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vada Reinhardt; his children, Larry and Ludean Welch, Dave and Sheila Welch, Renee and Jack Werenski, Willy and Connie Welch, Kim and Bobby Jones, Melanie and Perry Seilheimer, Charlie and Christen Welch, and Paul and Krystel Welch; and his 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Robert G. Welch; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Welch as an expression of our sympathy.
