SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Wilma Kochan Fitzgerald of Alton, who
4passed away on January 17, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Wilma Fitzgerald was born on November 4, 1930, in
6Mount Carmel; she was the daughter of Claude and Gladys
7(Parker) Davis; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Wilma Fitzgerald was a member of St. Mary's
9Catholic Church in Alton, where she was a member of the ladies
10society; she was a former member of St. Bernard's Catholic
11Church in Wood River, where she was a member of the Ladies
12Guild and PTA; she was also a volunteer at the Knights of
13Columbus and a member of the Art Museum in Alton; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Wilma Fitzgerald enjoyed writing, crafts,
15gardening, walking, and history; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Wilma Fitzgerald was preceded in death by her
17parents; her husband; her sisters, Mary Ann Miller and Betty
18Kutter; and her brother, Jim Ray; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Wilma Fitzgerald is survived by her son, Steve
20Kochan; her daughters, Theresa (Kochan) Moore, Barbara

1(Kochan) Swanson, and Mary (Kochan) Stewart; her 8
2grandchildren; her 4 great-grandchildren; and her good
3friends, Phil and Karen Hartman; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
6her family and friends, the passing of Wilma Kochan Fitzgerald;
7and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Wilma Fitzgerald as an expression of
10our sympathy.
