SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Paul Michael Bowers of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Bloomington, who passed away on March 6, 2012; and

WHEREAS, He was born April 20, 1968, in Bloomington, the son of James and JoAnn Ruffing Bowers; he married Tamara J. Hazelton on June 24, 2000, in Kirkwood, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, He was a graduate of Bloomington High School and Illinois State University; and

WHEREAS, He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Minnesota Vikings; he enjoyed just hanging out with family and friends; and

WHEREAS, He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend; and

WHEREAS, Paul Bowers is survived by his wife, Tamara; his daughters, Kyleigh, Ava, and Isabel Bowers; his parents, Jim and JoAnn Bowers; his brothers, Jim Bowers Jr., Jeff (Stephanie) Bowers, and Kurt (Stephanie) Bowers; his mother-in-law, Jane Barnett; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Paul Bowers; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Paul Bowers as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
