SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Joan Phyllis Bergquist of Elburn, who passed away on June 5, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Joan Bergquist was preceded in death by her husband, Al; her parents; her sister-in-law, Diane Oksas; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Fabrizius; and

WHEREAS, Joan Bergquist is survived by her children, Vicki Bergquist, Al "Butch" (Connie) Bergquist, Barbara (Patrick) Bradford, and Mary (Chuck) Liss; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Ronald Jr.) Edwards, Ben and Blake Bradford, and Mackenzie, Allison, and Chuck Liss; two great-grandchildren, Shelby and Bradford Edwards; her brother, Bob (Inga) Oksas; her sister, Carol Fabrizius; her brothers-in-law, Carl (Sharon) Bergquist and Norman (Diane) Bergquist; her sister-in-law, Alice Nickels; her many nieces and nephews; and her many friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Joan Phyllis Bergquist; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joan Bergquist as an expression of our sympathy.
