SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Elaine McMahon, who passed away on August 6, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Mary McMahon was born on February 7, 1928; she was a life-long resident of Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Mary McMahon was a graduate of Lake Forest College; and

WHEREAS, Mary McMahon was employed at Green Bay Elementary School in North Chicago as a teacher for over 20 years; and

WHEREAS, Mary McMahon was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Kreager; her mother, Bertha; and her beloved sister, Norma; and

WHEREAS, Mary McMahon is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert; her step-children, Robert Jr., Cindy, and Barbara; her 6 grandchildren; and her great-granddaughter; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Mary Elaine McMahon; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary McMahon as an expression of our sympathy.
