SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lisa Marie Cashmore of Zion, who passed away on June 28, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Marie Cashmore was born in Salinas, California to Ray Ortiz and Patty Sliva on December 15, 1965; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Marie Cashmore enjoyed reading, listening to music, working out with her "Burn Sisters," and educating little minds; she loved her pets; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Marie Cashmore was preceded in death by her father, Ray Ortiz; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Marie Cashmore is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jimmy; her children, Jacqueline and Joseph; her parents, Patty (Tom) Sliva; her siblings, Kellie Ortiz, Kenneth (Rebecca) Ortiz, and Desiree Ortiz; her dearest friend, Tracee Perkowski; and her extended family, friends, nieces, nephews, co-workers, and students; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Lisa Marie Cashmore and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lisa Marie Cashmore as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
