1 SENATE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Harrilchak of Moline, who
4 passed away on January 2, 2020; and

5     WHEREAS, Robert Harrilchak was born in Yonkers, New York to
6 Michael and Anna (Furtak) Harrilchak Sr. on July 21, 1944; he
7 received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 1968
8 and his MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1984;
9 and

10     WHEREAS, Robert Harrilchak retired as a Lieutenant
11 Commander for the U.S. Navy in June 1992; he retired from the
12 Rock Island Arsenal in April 2019 after 11 years as a Contract
13 Specialist; and

14     WHEREAS, Robert Harrilchak was an avid hockey fan; he also
15 enjoyed fishing, home improvements, and spending time with his
16 family; and

17     WHEREAS, Robert Harrilchak was preceded in death by his
18 parents; and

19     WHEREAS, Robert Harrilchak is survived by his children,
20 Christopher Harrilchak and Sara (Ryan) Rodgers; his

1 grandchildren, Sterling and Hattie Rodgers; his brother,
2 Michael Harrilchak Jr.; and his former wife, Sharon Harrilchak;
3 therefore, be it

4     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6 Robert "Bob" Harrilchak and extend our sincere condolences to
7 his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8 further

9     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10 presented to the family of Robert Harrilchak as an expression
11 of our deepest sympathy.
