SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Glenna Mae Donohoo, who passed away on December 12, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo was born in Montezuma Township, Pike County to Paul and Helen (Cox) Bissell on November 5, 1936; she married Richard R. Donohoo in Pocahontas, Arkansas on May 10, 1952; and

WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo loved cooking and baking for her beloved family, camping with family and friends, and watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball; and

WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo was a faithful member of the Vaughn Hill Church of Christ for over 45 years; and

WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her son, Donald Donohoo; her daughter, Cheryl Donohoo; her parents; and her siblings, Paul Bissell Jr., Erma Rucker, Zelma Bess, and Donna Stanley; and

WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Brenda Donohoo; her grandchildren, Chris (Angela) Donohoo, Jason Donohoo, Tim (Amy) Donohoo, Jennifer (John) Huddleston, and Taylor Donohoo (Austin Drew); her great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Julian, Elias, Lyndon, Jaryn, Zoie, and Hudson; her daughter-in-law, Lynda Vandiver; her dear nieces, Brenda Cbetto and Eva James; and several other nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Glenna Mae Donohoo and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Glenna Donohoo as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
