520 ILCS 5/1.6

from Ch. 61, par. 1.6

Amends the Wildlife Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the propagation and stocking of mammals and birds.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning wildlife.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing Section 1.6 as follows:

(520 ILCS 5/1.6) (from Ch. 61, par. 1.6)

Sec. 1.6. The The Department, and persons authorized by it, may take, purchase or propagate, any mammals or birds, or eggs of such birds for propagation and stocking purposes, and when so taken, may transmit them to parts of the State where a scarcity of such birds or mammals exists, for the purpose of restocking such parts of the State.
