SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

720 ILCS 5/33G-1

Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Makes a technical change in the short title of the Illinois Street Gang and Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Law (or "RICO").

AN ACT concerning criminal law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Criminal Code of 2012 is amended by changing Section 33G-1 as follows:

(Section scheduled to be repealed on June 11, 2017)

Sec. 33G-1. Short title. This Article may be cited as the the Illinois Street Gang and Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Law (or "RICO").
