1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION

2     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
4 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Joint Task Force on Turkish
5 and Illinois Relations is created; and be it further

6     RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall consist of the
7 following members:
8         (1) one co-chair appointed by the Speaker of the House
9     of Representatives;
10         (2) one co-chair appointed by the President of the
11     Senate; and
12         (3) any other member of the General Assembly who wishes
13     to participate, to be appointed by the presiding officer of
14     that member's chamber; and be it further

15     RESOLVED, That the Task Force is charged with strengthening
16 and continuing the State's friendship, business, and cultural
17 ties with the Republic of Turkey.
