HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Rev. John Crawford, Jr. and Faith, Inc. Community Advisory Group for District 1 on the occasion of the organization's 15th anniversary on May 2, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Faith, Inc. (For Action in Togetherness Holdfast), is a non-profit activist organization in the Austin community; and

WHEREAS, Faith, Inc. works with the Illinois Department of Corrections and over 75 other social service organizations providing services in the Austin community; and

WHEREAS, Among the group's work is advocating for ex-offenders re-integrating into society with their families and providing resources to those striving to get back on their feet financially; and

WHEREAS, Reverend John Crawford, Jr. and Faith, Inc. have remained committed to their continued service in the Austin community; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Rev. John Crawford, Jr. and Faith, Inc. Community Advisory Group for District 1 on the occasion of the organization's 15th anniversary, commend the organization on its efforts, and wish its members much continued success in their future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution presented to Faith, Inc. as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
