HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Elizabeth
4Chante' McGee, who passed away on March 20, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Chante' McGee was born on February 14,
61967; her parents were Tessola Bridges and Pemington McGee; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee attended Riis Elementary School;
8she later attended Creiger Vocational High School, where she
9graduated with the class of 1985; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee gave her life to Christ at an
11early age; she later joined No Limit Christian Ministries under
12the leadership of Rev. Joe Jackson, where she rededicated her
13life; in 2010, she joined Predestined Ministries under the
14leadership of Pastor Koryell D. Tate, where she served as a
15faithful member until Pastor Tate saw something special in her
16and, in 2011, she was crowned as the missionary of the church;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee is survived by her parents; her
19children, Chakita, Robert, Rashay, Anthony, Avonte', Silvana,
20and Shawnteria; her grandchildren, Chakia, Cornelius, E'mia,
21Marshune, David, Kayla, Reniyah, and Maliyah; her sister,

1Patricia Brodie; her brothers, Ken and Matthew; her special
2sisters, Tangeria, Tracy, and Mechele; her godchildren,
3Charlotte, Jerrell, Wooga, and Nikki; her special cousin, Mike
4Tate; and her many other special friends and family members;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
7NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
8we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of
9Elizabeth Chante' McGee; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Elizabeth McGee as an expression of
12our sympathy.
