HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Elizabeth Chante' McGee, who passed away on March 20, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Elizabeth Chante' McGee was born on February 14, 1967; her parents were Tessola Bridges and Pemington McGee; and

WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee attended Riis Elementary School; she later attended Creiger Vocational High School, where she graduated with the class of 1985; and

WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee gave her life to Christ at an early age; she later joined No Limit Christian Ministries under the leadership of Rev. Joe Jackson, where she rededicated her life; in 2010, she joined Predestined Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Koryell D. Tate, where she served as a faithful member until Pastor Tate saw something special in her and, in 2011, she was crowned as the missionary of the church; and

WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee is survived by her parents; her children, Chakita, Robert, Rashay, Anthony, Avonte', Silvana, and Shawnteria; her grandchildren, Chakia, Cornelius, E'mia, Marshune, David, Kayla, Reniyah, and Maliyah; her sister, Patricia Brodie; her brothers, Ken and Matthew; her special sisters, Tangeria, Tracy, and Mechele; her godchildren, Charlotte, Jerrell, Wooga, and Nikki; her special cousin, Mike Tate; and her many other special friends and family members; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Elizabeth Chante' McGee; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Elizabeth McGee as an expression of our sympathy.
