HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to honor the Lemont Junior Woman's Club, a service and philanthropic organization that strives to improve the community and the lives of those in it through programs and financial contributions; and

WHEREAS, The organization's committed members donate thousands of hours of service and contribute tens of thousands of dollars each year for local charities and programs, as well as scholarships for students; and

WHEREAS, Their dedication and service has made possible the development of Safety Village, the Lemont Junior Woman's Club playground at Centennial Park, and enhancements at Lemont's food pantries; and

WHEREAS, The Lemont Junior Woman's Club celebrates its twentieth year of community service that has played a positive role in so many lives and produced a strong sense of community; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we honor the members of the Lemont Junior Woman's Club for their dedicated service and we wish great success in their future as an excellent organization; and be it further; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Jill McAndrews, of Lemont Junior Woman's Club, as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
