HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Sally A. McElfresh
4on the occasion of her retirement from PNC Bank after 36 years
5of dedicated service; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Sally McElfresh began her career in 1973 at the
7then Commercial National Bank working part-time in the
8purchasing department; she left to have children and begin
9raising her family; she returned to the auditing department in
101978; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Sally McElfresh has provided invaluable service
12as an executive assistant to bank presidents Robert Steveson
13and Douglas Stewart, executive vice-presidents Bruce "Skip"
14Snyder and Brock Hessing Sr., finance officer Roger Allen, and
15Kim Dixon in community relations and Kent Malone in corporate
16banking; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Sally McElfresh, as an executive assistant to
18vice-president David R. Leitch, was instrumental in the bank's
19First Grant program, which over 28 years has provided nearly
20$500,000 to area teachers with innovative classroom ideas; she
21has assisted retired Executive Vice-President Warren Webber
22with overseeing the Detweiller Trust; and

1    WHEREAS, Sally McElfresh is looking forward to spending
2more time with her husband, John; her children, Andrea, Rick,
3Jessica, and Jennifer; and her grandchildren, Naomi, Nathan,
4Carly Ann, Grant, Bella, Benjamin, and Jackson; therefore, be
5it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
7NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
8we congratulate Sally McElfresh on her outstanding career and
9her retirement and wish her the best in all her future
10endeavours; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to Sally McElfresh as an expression of our esteem and
13respect.
