HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Judith Dunne Bernardi on the occasion of her retirement as Norridge Village Clerk; and

WHEREAS, Judith Dunne Bernardi began her term as Village Clerk in May 1996; she also served as the Customer Service Department head; and

WHEREAS, Judith Dunne Bernardi represents the City of Norridge on the O'Hare Noise Compatibility Commission, where she has served as Treasurer; she is Vice-Chair of the Residential Sound Insulation Committee and is a member of the Technical Committee; and

WHEREAS, Judith Dunne Bernardi's directorships include the Ridgewood High School Foundation, Norridge Cares, and Central Baptist Village, where she is Secretary of the Board of Directors; and

WHEREAS, Judith Dunne Bernardi and her husband, John, have lived in Norridge since 1973; she is a graduate, with High Honors, of DePaul University and of the Municipal Clerks' Institute; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Judith Dunne Bernardi on her retirement as Norridge Village Clerk and wish her the best with all her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Judith Dunne Bernardi as an expression of our esteem and respect.
