HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Andy Bitto of Mundelein on his 30 years of service to Carmel Catholic High School and the community; and

WHEREAS, Andy Bitto has served Carmel Catholic High School as both head coach of the football team and the school's athletic director; and

WHEREAS, Andy Bitto began his career at Carmel Catholic in 1995; during his tenure, he has developed the Corsairs into a powerhouse in the conference with an overall record of 126 wins and 56 losses and built strong ties within the community; and

WHEREAS, Andy Bitto successfully coached the Corsairs to the playoffs 12 consecutive years between 2000 and 2011; during this span, they won 4 conference titles in 2002, 2003, 2009, and 2010; in 2003, the team finished with a record of 14-0, winning the 6A State Championship; and

WHEREAS, Andy Bitto is dedicated to his players, helping many young men grow and mature on the football field and in life, educating them on more than just a game but what faith and hard work can help one achieve; and

WHEREAS, Andy Bitto has represented Carmel Catholic High School in a positive light, being a leader and strong man of faith alongside his fellow faculty, parents, students, and community members; he has faithfully represented his community and helped shape the lives of many students; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Andy Bitto on his 30 years of service to Carmel Catholic High School as both head football coach and athletic director; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Andy Bitto as an expression of our esteem and respect.
