HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Tamara "Annie" Hutchinson Drisdell of Chicago, who passed away on January 24, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell was born on November 10, 1976 in Chicago to Robert L. Jones and Patricia Hutchinson; she graduated from Westinghouse Vocational High School and was an aspiring model while attending the Howland School of Arts; she married Howard Drisdell on February 14, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell worked as a department manager for Montgomery Wards from 2000 to 2002 and held the World Leader position at Toys R' Us from 2002 to 2004; she worked as an Area Sales Manager for Urban Media Group DBA U.S. Cellular from 2004 to 2008, and then in 2010, she began her career as a U.S. Cellular retail wireless consultant; she later worked as a store manager for 7-Eleven; and

WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell was a member of New Life Covenant Church; and

WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell was preceded in death by her grandmother, Octavia Davenport; her grandfathers, Louis Davenport, Sr. and Robert L. Jones, Sr.; her uncles, Timothey Davenport, Jimmy Davenport, and Calvin Jones; and her cousin, Marie Antoinette Shaw; and

WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell is survived by her husband, Howard; her father, Robert Jones; her mother, Patricia (Cornell) Cox; her children, Cierra Perkins, Jermaine Ezell, and Jordan Drisdell; her grandmothers, Maureen Porter, Mini Jones, and Rebecca; her sisters, Janette (James), Lenise Davenport, Brenda (Anthony) Hutchinson-Murphy, and Samantha Hutchinson; her brothers, Robert L. Jones and Frankie Hutchinson; her 7 uncles; her 13 aunts; her special friends, Verlensia (Queen) Moore and Carolyn Crockett; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Tamara "Annie" Hutchinson Drisdell, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
