HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Tamara
4"Annie" Hutchinson Drisdell of Chicago, who passed away on
5January 24, 2014; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell was born on November
710, 1976 in Chicago to Robert L. Jones and Patricia Hutchinson;
8she graduated from Westinghouse Vocational High School and was
9an aspiring model while attending the Howland School of Arts;
10she married Howard Drisdell on February 14, 2005; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell worked as a department
12manager for Montgomery Wards from 2000 to 2002 and held the
13World Leader position at Toys R' Us from 2002 to 2004; she
14worked as an Area Sales Manager for Urban Media Group DBA U.S.
15Cellular from 2004 to 2008, and then in 2010, she began her
16career as a U.S. Cellular retail wireless consultant; she later
17worked as a store manager for 7-Eleven; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell was a member of New
19Life Covenant Church; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell was preceded in death
21by her grandmother, Octavia Davenport; her grandfathers, Louis

1Davenport, Sr. and Robert L. Jones, Sr.; her uncles, Timothey
2Davenport, Jimmy Davenport, and Calvin Jones; and her cousin,
3Marie Antoinette Shaw; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell is survived by her
5husband, Howard; her father, Robert Jones; her mother, Patricia
6(Cornell) Cox; her children, Cierra Perkins, Jermaine Ezell,
7and Jordan Drisdell; her grandmothers, Maureen Porter, Mini
8Jones, and Rebecca; her sisters, Janette (James), Lenise
9Davenport, Brenda (Anthony) Hutchinson-Murphy, and Samantha
10Hutchinson; her brothers, Robert L. Jones and Frankie
11Hutchinson; her 7 uncles; her 13 aunts; her special friends,
12Verlensia (Queen) Moore and Carolyn Crockett; and a host of
13nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends;
14therefore, be it
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
17we mourn the passing of Tamara "Annie" Hutchinson Drisdell, and
18extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all
19who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
20    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21presented to the family of Tamara Hutchinson Drisdell as an
22expression of our deepest sympathy.
