HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate J.J. Wolfe of Dakota High School on winning the Illinois High School Association Class 1A 138-pound wrestling championship; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Wolfe wrestles approximately 10 months a year and it takes him all across the country; this is the 2nd summer he has been asked to wrestle for Team Illinois, for which he will wrestle at the Scholastic Duals in Indiana in April and in Virginia Beach over Memorial Day weekend; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Wolfe has been a member of Dakota's Tech Trek Team that has won 1st place the last 2 years at the Highland College competition; and

WHEREAS, In addition to being a successful wrestler, J.J. Wolfe is an excellent student and excels in Drafting/CAD, being ranked #1 in the class for the past two years; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Wolfe enjoys spending time with his friends and traveling with his family to their cottage at Wisconsin Dells in the summer; and

WHEREAS, J.J. Wolfe is a junior and plans to wrestle in college while majoring in a form of engineering; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate J.J. Wolfe on winning the Illinois High School Association Class 1A 138-pound wrestling championship; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to J.J. Wolfe as an expression of our esteem and respect.
