HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Yuki Hirayama of Vernon Hills, who passed away on March 28, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Yuki Hirayama and his family were involved in an automobile accident that claimed his life and the lives of his parents, Tomohiro and Sachiyo Hirayama; and

WHEREAS, Yuki Hirayama was a 16-year-old student at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire; he took part in the fencing program and was a member of Stevenson Patriots in New Situations, a club for transfer students; and

WHEREAS, Yuki Hirayama is survived by his 9-year-old sister, Rinka; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Yuki Hirayama, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Yuki Hirayama as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
