SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Wilesha Faye Clay, who passed away on September 2, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Wilesha Clay was born on July 25, 1968; her parents were Wayland, Sr. and Wilhelmenia Clay; and

WHEREAS, Wilesha Clay received her formal education in the Rock Island school system; she later attended Augustana College before transferring to Illinois State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in hospital administration with a minor in communication; she subsequently earned her master's degree from Sangamon State University; and

WHEREAS, Wilesha Clay was a member of the Westside Church of Christ; and

WHEREAS, Wilesha Clay is survived by her parents, Wayland, Sr. and Wilhelmenia Clay; her brothers, Wayland, Jr. and William Clay; her god-daughter, Tarian Reeves; and her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Wilesha Faye Clay; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wilesha Clay as an expression of our sympathy.
