SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Deborah Reese of Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Deborah Reese was the principal of Hitch Elementary School in Chicago for 10 years; and

WHEREAS, Hitch Elementary School is the second most crowded school in the city and Deborah Reese often spoke out in favor of finding a solution to ease the situation; and

WHEREAS, Deborah Reese had a passion for her work and her dedication to the children of Hitch Elementary School was without question; and

WHEREAS, Deborah Reese was the fond mother of Jason and Peter Parizanski, and the dear sister of Terry (Bruce) Galloway and Michael Reese; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Deborah Reese, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Deborah Reese as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
