SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William H. Schneck of Des Plaines, who passed away on May 7, 2014; and

WHEREAS, William Schneck was born in Chicago on November 28, 1924; he served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1946 in the Pacific Theater during World War II; and

WHEREAS, William Schneck was self-employed as a graphic artist in the early 1960s; and

WHEREAS, William Schneck was the beloved husband of Ann Schneck (nee Jacobson); the loving father of Kenneth (Dora) Schneck, the late Bruce Schneck, Neil Schneck, Alan (Jamie) Schneck, Judy (Michael) Tuminaro, and Jeannie (Alan) Lipowski; the cherished grandfather of Nicole, Bruce, Carrie, Matt and Sarah, Rachel, Tony and Amy, and Kristine and Brian; the dear great-grandfather of 3; and the cherished brother of Shirley (the late Eric) Emil, the late Ronald (the late Kathleen), and the late Ralph (Nancy) Schneck; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of William H. Schneck, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of William Schneck as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
