SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Joseph S. Farrell of Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell graduated from St. Viator High School in 1988; he subsequently earned his degree in accounting from Marquette University in 1992 and his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in 1995; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell practiced law in Chicago for the past 19 years, working at Weiss & Block Chartered, Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, and Access Group; he was well-known among his peers as a well-respected transactional attorney; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell was the beloved husband of Kristen (nee Benedict); the adoring father of Caroline, Katlin, and Lauren; the dear son of Barbara and the late Neal Farrell; the cherished brother of Anne (John) McKay, Susan Farrell, Karen (Dave) Regan, and Kathleen (TJ) Perreault; and the fond uncle of 3 nieces and 11 nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph S. Farrell; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joseph Farrell as an expression of our sympathy.
