SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bonnie G. Rossell (nee Gibbs) of Oak Park, who passed away on May 24, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Rossell was born on March 12, 1947; she was married for 48 years to Al Rossell, a local realtor and owner of Jack Carpenter Realty; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Rossell worked as an appraiser and her specialty was appraising homes on the National Register of Historic Places; she had an active role in both the Chicago and national organizations of appraisers; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Rossell was active in many Oak Park organizations; she served on the board of the Hephzibah Children's Association; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Rossell is survived by her husband, Al; her children, Reid (Diana Ditsch) and Lori (Anthony) Ebbole; her grandchildren, Alyssa and Evan and Raina and Niko; her sisters, Dorothea Napier and Susan (the late George) Stamm; her nieces and nephews; and her many friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Bonnie G. Rossell, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bonnie Rossell as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
