SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert Charles "Bob" Bracco of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was born on July 22, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa; he was raised in Oak Park; and

WHEREAS, Bob Bracco attended St. Edmund School and was a 1979 graduate of Fenwick High School and a 1983 graduate of Loras College, where he played football with great strength and passion; and

WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was employed as a construction superintendent with Forever Homes; and

WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Apex, North Carolina; and

WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was a fan of all Chicago sports, with the exception of the Cubs; and

WHEREAS, Bob Bracco was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Kay (nee Coughlin) Bracco; and

WHEREAS, Bob Bracco is survived by his wife, Diane (nee Tunney) Bracco; a daughter, Anna; 9 siblings, Beth (John) Bonanno, Dennis (Colleen), Michael (Karen), Larry (Jennifer), Marty (Beth), Steven (Susan), Meg (Greg) Liebreich, Peter (Melissa), and Barbara Sipes; his mother-in-law, Joan (the late Thomas) Tunney; his extended Tunney family, Sue and Dave, TJ and Debba, Robbie and Shelby, and Janie and Ron; 30 nieces and nephews; and his dog, Sara; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert Charles "Bob" Bracco; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Bracco as an expression of our sympathy.
