SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Richard P. Krapf of Beach Park, who
4passed away on November 15, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Krapf was born on April 24, 1933 in
6Waukegan; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Richard Krapf served his country as a member of
8the United States Army from 1953 until 1955; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Richard Krapf was employed at Johnson Motors for
1030 years; he also served as a teacher's aide at Zion-Benton
11Township High School for 9 years and worked at Larsen Florist
12in Waukegan; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Krapf enjoyed coaching Little League
14baseball, crossword puzzles, and having breakfast with friends
15and family; he was also a lifelong Chicago White Sox, Notre
16Dame, and Chicago/Arizona Cardinals fan; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Richard Krapf was a devoted member of St. Dismas
18Church, where he was a mass coordinator and a part of the
19Special Religious Development program; and

1    WHEREAS, Richard Krapf was preceded in death by his wife,
2Dorothy; his parents; a brother, Ronnie Krapf; and a
3son-in-law, George Cavallari; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Richard Krapf is survived by 3 children, Linda
5Cavallari, Richard S. (Jan) Krapf, and Cynthia C. (Neal)
6Johnson; 4 grandchildren, Deacon Nicolas Cavallari, Laura
7(Tom) O'Connor, Erica Johnson, and Brett Johnson; a
8great-grandson, George; a brother, Leonard (Jean) Krapf; and
9many extended family members; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
12family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard P. Krapf; and
13be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Richard Krapf as an expression of
16our sympathy.
