SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Terrence Patrick Allen of Palatine, who passed away on November 11, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Terrence Allen was born in Chicago on April 14, 1960 to Thomas and Irene Allen; and

WHEREAS, Terrence Allen worked as the Business Manager of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134 in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Terrence Allen was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Terrence Allen was the beloved husband of Jean (nee Conrick); the proud father of Billy, Amanda, and Michael Allen; the loving brother of Barbara (John) Wiemhoff, Nancy (Tim) Cullerton, Tom (Jan) Allen, Jim (Lin) Allen, Tim (Mary) Allen, Dan (Sue) Allen, and Pat (Laura) Allen; the dear brother-in-law of Mary Ann (Dan) Jordan, Bill Conrick, Joanne (Dan) Lynch, Tom Conrick, and Cathy (Jay) Ek; the fond son-in-law of Bill and Camille Conrick; the cherished uncle and great-uncle of 46 nieces and nephews; and longtime friend to Brother David Galinski, FSC; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Terrence Patrick Allen, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Terrence Allen as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
