SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Edward Allen Pearce, who passed away on
4November 20, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Edward Pearce was born on November 16, 1931 in
6Plumville, Pennsylvania; his parents were Edward Lloyd and
7Alice Elizabeth (nee Downing) Pearce and his stepmother was
8Louise Irene Pearce; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Edward Pearce enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping,
10gardening, bowling, and casino trips; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Edward Pearce worked and later retired as an
12electrical lineman with International Brotherhood of
13Electrical Workers Local 9; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Edward Pearce was involved with Cub and Boy Scouts
15with Troop 76 in Waukegan for many years; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Edward Pearce was preceded in death by his wife,
17Esther L. Pearce; his parents; a son, Danny R. Pearce; 2
18sisters, Wilma Grace (Bernard) Smith and Patricia (Don)
19Pendelton; 4 brothers, David L. (Iris) Pearce, Sr., John W.
20(Ruth A.) Pearce, Clayton L. Pearce, and Norman R. Pearce; and

1a stepbrother, Harvey (Peggy) Casaday; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Edward Pearce is survived by 3 sons, Randall A.
3(Carmen) Pearce, William E. Pearce, and Ronald D. (Jodi)
4Pearce; a daughter, Ruth A. Clauson; 2 brothers, Donald
5(Rosangela) Pearce and Harold Keith (Donna) Pearce; 2
6sisters-in-law, Ruth Pearce and Sally Pearce; a stepbrother,
7James (Shirley) Cassidy; a stepsister, Norma (Jim) Smith; 5
8grandchildren, Tricia Clauson, Edward R. Pearce, Michael
9Perusky, Sr., Adam (Kelly) Bardosy, and Jeremy (Stacy) Knott; 9
10great-grandchildren, Glenn Clauson, Breanna Beitzel, Michael,
11Jr., Ty, Chase, and Brooklyn Perusky, Brady, Evelyn, and
12Lillian Bardosy, and Alanta Knott; and many nieces and nephews;
13therefore, be it
 
14    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
15ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
16family and friends, mourn the passing of Edward Allen Pearce;
17and be it further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of Edward Pearce as an expression of
20our sympathy.
