SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Angelina "Nana" DeAngelis, who passed away on June 13, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Angelina DeAngelis was born in Caramanico, Italy, and immigrated to Joliet in 1953; throughout her life, she blessed her family and friends with an abundance of love, prayers, and homemade Italian food; and

WHEREAS, Angelina DeAngelis was preceded in death by her husband, Gino DeAngelis; her parents, Biase and Angelantonia Egizio; her daughter-in-law, Paula DeAngelis; her son, Livio; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Gus (Minnie) Egizio and Eugene (Theresa) Egizio; and

WHEREAS, Angelina DeAngelis is survived by her children, Lydia (Darrell) Marquardt, Anthony (Kerry) DeAngelis, Anna (Jack) Adamic, Angelo (Mary Beth) DeAngelis, and Gina (Jim) Buldak; her grandchildren, Jeannine (Greg) Humphrey, Nicole (Adam) Domain, Marissa (Todd) Lukas, Nicholas DeAngelis, Angela (Paul) Cabay, John Adamic (Kelly Spitzner), Erin (Scott) Foat, Michael, Philip, Nicolette, and Dominic DeAngelis, and Aaron and Alex Buldak; her 11 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Mary DiSera; her special niece, Angie (Wally) Hulbert; and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, and neighbors; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Angelina "Nana" DeAngelis; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Angelina DeAngelis as an expression of our sympathy.
