SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Diana Jean Pecaro of Libertyville and Naples, Florida, who passed away on January 27, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro was born on January 10, 1943 in Waukegan; her parents were Sylvester and Stephanie Welker; she was a seasonal resident of Naples, Florida since 1980 and also lived in Libertyville; and

WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro attended Marquette University and graduated as a dental hygienist; she subsequently worked for her family's dental practice for many years; and

WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro was very involved in Catholic Charities; she was also a member of Collier's Reserve Country Club and the Old Collier Golf Club in Naples; and

WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro enjoyed golf, classical music, playing the oboe, traveling, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and close friends; and

WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rodger Welker; and

WHEREAS, Diana Pecaro is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Bruce L. Pecaro; her loving children, Highwood Mayor Charles (Jessica) Pecaro, Victoria (Ron) Alberts, Benjamin (Maria) Pecaro, Daniel (Kelly) Pecaro, and Nicole Pecaro; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Frankie, Anthony, Joey, Adrianna, Stefani, Alissa, Leni, and Dominic; and her many loving nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Diana Jean Pecaro; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Diana Pecaro as an expression of our sympathy.
