SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Edward Anthony Cummins; and

WHEREAS, Edward Cummins served as a teacher at Austin High School for 38 years until his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Edward Cummins served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War; and

WHEREAS, Edward Cummins was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Shanley); the loving father of Marie, Anthony (Janet), and Patrick (Amy); the cherished grandfather of Owen and Erin; the dear brother of James, Bernice Hernandez, and the late Eileen; and the fond uncle and cousin of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Edward Anthony Cummins; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward Cummins as an expression of our sympathy.
