SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jay Douglas Webb, who passed away on October 2, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb was born on May 6, 1941 in Ewing; his parents were Roy Webb and Mickey (nee McKee) Webb; he married Judy McKinnon on October 17, 1964; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb, his wife, and his son were the owners and operators of Webb Farms of Ewing; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb was a member of the Farm Bureau, the Future Farmers of America Alumni Association, and the Ewing School Board; he also enjoyed auctioneering; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Webb; his son, Shannon (Tracy) Webb; his granddaughter, Josie Lee Webb; his sister, Kay (Rick) Boundy; his aunts, Billie J. (Herb) Winemiller and Judy McKee; his sisters-in-law, Donna Ellis and Mary McKinnon; and his many nephews, nieces, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Jay Douglas Webb; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jay Webb as an expression of our sympathy.
