SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bettina "Tina" J. Jennings of Auburn, who passed away on January 16, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Bettina Jennings was born on February 13, 1970 in Alton; her parents were Larry and Brenda (nee Walls) Mathis; she married Anthony "Tony" P. Jennings on May 14, 1996 in Hettick; and

WHEREAS, Bettina Jennings was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clyde Woodson "Woody" Walls; and

WHEREAS, Bettina Jennings is survived by her husband, Anthony; her parents; her daughters, Tricia J. Twichell, Tabitha P. Twichell; her brothers, Dale (Teddy) Mathis and James (companion, Angel Wiseman) Mathis; her sisters, Cheryl (Jeff) Slayback and Jessica Mathis; her grandmother, Wanda Walls; her grandchild; and her many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Bettina "Tina" J. Jennings; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bettina Jennings as an expression of our sympathy.
