SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John Robert "Bunzo" Fraser of Gillespie, who passed away on February 4, 2014; and

WHEREAS, John Fraser was born in Carlinville on April 21, 1927 to Morrison Fraser and Christina (nee Horn) Fraser Guild; he married Clara Joyce Rademacher; and

WHEREAS, John Fraser retired from Budweiser as a driver and salesman; and

WHEREAS, John Fraser served in the United States Navy during World War II; he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4547 of Gillespie and the American Legion; he was a high school basketball official for 50 years and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan; and

WHEREAS, John Fraser was preceded in death by his parents and by his sisters, Jessie Bazzarone and Marie Lindley; and

WHEREAS, John Fraser is survived by his wife, Clara Joyce Fraser; his daughter, Barbara Ann (Curt) Albertin; his son, Morrison Love (Barbara Kay) Fraser; his grandchildren, Lauren Albertin, Dalton Albertin, Stuart Fraser, and Mason Fraser; and his sister, Christina Stewart; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John Robert "Bunzo" Fraser, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Fraser as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
